Amberley has private Trash/Recycling. This is the heritage of private pickup from the founding of the community and the narrow pipestem roads needing service.
The payment is annual and offers a discount for Community Association Members. New residents are eligible for a prorated fee based on the month they move in. Those selling their house should prorate their annual fee on their settlement sheet to new owners.
Holiday Schedule The Contract provides for six Holiday schedule shifts:
New Years Day
Memorial Day
July 4th
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
In the weeks of these Monday holidays, the Tuesday trash pickup moves to Wednesday, and Recycling pickup moves to Thursday. Friday trash pickup remains the same.
Missed Trash Pickup Instructions: Make sure you let me know when the trash does not get picked up. But more importantly, notify Goode. The managers don't know they have problems if we don't report it.
For best results in this situation: 1. If the trash is still in the can after 11:00am, take a picture on your smart phone of the trash location (so they know where they should be looking)
